Around 100 people showed up to watch Heart and Soul Muay Thai’s Smoke Show 4 sparring event at the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Feb. 10.

“As this was an interclub sparring event, no winners were announced but the athletes put on a great display of skill and sportsmanship and the spectators had a great time,” says Sandra Bastian, a coach and one of the founders of Heart and Soul.

Athletes from the Campbell River area, Courtenay, Victoria and Salt Spring Island came to participate, and there were about seven bouts fought.
