Myra Page took the Mirror with her to Floreana Island in the Galapagos Islands in a place called Post Office Bay. Since 1793, sailors and visitors have been leaving and picking up letters to deliver by hand around the world. She took the opportunity to send a postcard to her niece in Kamloops, so it will be very interesting to see when she gets it and who will deliver it to her!

Candace Hills was visiting her brother Derek in Amarillo Texas. Derek plays in the N.A.H.L. for the Amarillo Bulls. Derek played all of his hockey here in Campbell River as a Tyee. The Mirror traveled 2,514 km with Candace to the Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo Texas where the picture was taken.

They took a vacation to Vietnam during the winter to spend time with their family. The beach where this picture was taken was about 10 minutes away from their grandmother’s house.
