Tim Hortons owners Darcy & Danielle Purcell and Jaice Granson presented a cheque for the money raised through the sales of “Smile Cookies” at the three Campbell River locations to four members of the Christmas Hamper Fund executive.

The amount raised, $11,790.86, will be used to help pay for the groceries placed in the hampers this coming Christmas.

This year, 2023, is the fiftieth consecutive year that the Christmas Hamper Fund organized by the Knights of Columbus will take place and the twentieth that Tim Hortons has been a major sponsor. The Christmas Hamper Fund has enjoyed such a remarkable run because of the unfailing financial and physical support from the individuals, businesses, groups and schools in the Campbell River Community.
