As a photographer/reporter with the Nanaimo News Bulletin since 1998, I've been fortunate to write about and photograph an endless variety of stories and events, especially those involving science and technology and the people who make positive contributions to our world. Telling their stories is just one of many important roles of community news. I've even been privileged to win a few regional, provincial, and national awards along the way. My spare time is divided between cycling, photography, music, reading, family, and road trip adventures, short or long, by bike or by car.
