Volleyball squad nets results in championship final

Net Results claims upset win in Campbell River Co-ed Volleyball's season-ending tourney

Net Results claimed the A division trophy in the Campbell River Co-ed Volleyball playoffs Monday at the SportsPlex.

In an epic, five-set final match, Net Results lived up to its name by claiming the ‘A’ division title in the Campbell River Co-ed Volleyball Championships with a 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 16-25, 25-23 victory over Duck or Pay Monday at the SportsPlex.

The underdog squad earned its way into the final with a sweep of Kiss My Ace in the semifinals.

The ‘B’ title went to the top-seeded Clam Diggers with a 25-8, 25-20, 25-19 sweep of Booyahs!

The top-ranked Snoop Dogs maintained their mastery of the ‘C’ division with a 25-3, 25-17, 25-21 sweep of We Like Big Bumps. The title is the third championship in a row and the fourth in six years for Snoop Dogs.

The co-ed volleyball league runs an indoor season each year from October through March.
