Now's your chance to try out the sport of biathlon on Mt. Washington.

Vancouver Island Biathlon Club is hosting a day to try biathlon. That entails .22 calibre shooting and skate-skiing at the club’s 26-lane remotely-operated target range located at Mt. Washington’s Nordic site.

It takes place on Dec. 28. It all begins at 10 a.m., with half hour time slots until 2 p.m. Anyone interested can sign up online at www.Zone4.ca

Afterwards, join club members for refreshments afterwards at Vancouver Island Mountain centre during the annual general meeting starting at 4 p.m.
