The River Runners Running Club will host the twenty-second Merville 15K road race on April 1.
This event is race number seven in the Vancouver Island Race Series (VIRA).
Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome.
The race takes place on flat, scenic country roads in the Merville area. (Please note that dogs and baby joggers are not permitted on the course.)
Post race there will be great food, draw prizes and awards at the Merville Community Hall.
The race begins at 11 a.m. (walkers start at 10:30 am). Day of race registration takes place at 9 a.m.
You can save money by registering in advance, either online at www.vira.bc.ca or pick-up entry forms at Strathcona Gardens, Sportsplex, Shorerunners, Shar-Kare, Pedal Your World and Outdoor Addictions.
Early registration is $20 per person. Day of race registration costs $35.
