Campbell River gymnasts took home several medals from a recent Victoria meet.

Gymnasts reach new heights

The Campbell River Gymnastics Association sent several athletes to Victoria for the annual Garden City Invitational.  The athletes combined for almost 30 medals and four girls placed in the top three All Around, including Tyza Skuse, who won the All Around.

JO level 8 all ages

Ksenia Stansell – 5th place ribbons on bars and beam, 9th on floor and vault, 8th in the All Around.

JO 7 2003-2007

Nya Chailler – silver medals on bars, beam and floor, 12th on vault, silver medal in the All Around.

Olivia Miles – gold medal on bars, 6th on beam, 7th on floor, 8th on vault, bronze medal in the All Around.

Jo 7 1998-2002

Mackenzie Johnson – 9th on bars and floor, 10th on vault and beam, 11th place in the All Around.

JO 6 1998-2002

Leah Anderson – gold medals on vault and beam, 5th on bars, 6th on floor, bronze medal in the All Around.

Tyra Moore – bronze medal on beam, 5th on bars, 8th on both vault and floor, 7th in the All Around.

JO 6 July 2004-June 2005

Tyza Skuse – gold medals on both vault and floor, silver medal on beam, bronze on bars, All Around Champion.

Isabella Michael – silver medal on vault, bronze on beam, 5th on floor, 9th on bars, 5th in the All Around.

Cailey Goddyn – 5th place ribbon on beam, 6th place ribbons on vault and bars, 14th on floor, 8th place in the All Around.

Janae McPherson -10th place ribbon on bars, 11th on vault, 12th on the floor, 14th on the beam, 10th place in the All Around.

Claire Pollock – 8th place ribbon on beam, 10th place ribbon on floor, 11th on bars, 12th on the vault, 11th place in the All Around.

Hanna Sommer – gold medals on both vault and floor, silver medal on bars, 11th on the beam, silver medal in the All Around.

Jordan Loock – silver medal on vault, 6th place ribbon on beam, 10th on the floor, 11th on bars, 9th place in the All Around.

JO 5 all ages

Shea Bridgen – silver medals on vault and bars, 5th place ribbon on beam, 7th on floor, silver medal in the All Around.

Jadea Wilson – gold medal on bars, 6th place ribbons on vault and floor, 7th on the beam, 5th place in the All Around.

Alexandra Smith – bronze medal on vault, 10th place ribbon on bars, 12th on both beam and floor, 10th place in the All Around.

Ava Lee – 8th place ribbon on floor, 9th place on beam, 12th on vault, 13th on bars, 12th place in the All Around.

JO 4 2003-June 2005

Kaitlynn Beaulieau – 8th on vault and bars, 9th on floor, 14th on beam, 12th place in the All Around.

Melody Bedard – 9th on vault, 12th on bars and beam, 14th on the floor, 13th place in the All Around.

JO 4 July 2005-June 2006

Makena Movold – 5th on vault, 6th for beam, 7th on bars, 11th on floor, 8th place in the All Around.

Michaela Pontious – 7th place ribbon on vault, 8th place ribbon on floor, 11th on bars and beam, 11th place in the All Around.

JO 3 2006-June 2007

Sierra Goddyn – bronze medal on vault, 5th on floor, 6th on bars, 9th on beam, 6th in the All Around.

Ava Levins – 7th on bars, 9th on vault, 10th on the floor, 12th on beam, 11th place in the All Around.
