The Campbell River Crush Bailey volleyball team is headed to the U15 A provincial champioships after placing second in the recent Vancouver Island Championships in Port Alberni.
The Crush swept their way into the final before falling in a see-saw, three-set match to eventual champion Nanaimo Mariners.
The team began with an undefeated sweep in round-robin play. Facing host Port Alberni in the semifinals, the Crush blanked Alberni two games to none to earn their berth in the final.
The squad next travels to Abbotsford for the provincial championships.
