CR Selects dominate return match

The teams met for a rematch end of season game today at the Rod Brind’Amour Arena. The final score was 16 for the Select and 4 for the Eagles.

The Select players played hard and with great skill. The time spent practicing with Coach Joel Wheeldon has paid off in a big way for the local team.

The team consists of: Jacob Gillis, Travis Hunter, Tyson Hrynuik, Dawson Williamson, Paulie Phoenix, Alec Crete, Matthew Basso, Dave Marsters, Nicholas Benner (goalie) and Gerry Laverdure (goalie).

The Campbell River Select is open to all athletes aged 15+ with developmental disabilities. The team his sponsored by Cermaq who provided the team with jerseys and socks. Both teams celebrated with a pizza party after the game.
