They beat the Cowichan Valley Capitals 2-0 in the semi-finals. Both goalies played exceptionally well.

In the second period, with game still scoreless, Everett Feeney fed a perfect pass to Dannika McCallister who was in alone on the goalie. McCallister beat the Cowichan goalie with a back hand shot to the top corner.

It turned out that was the only goal needed, but Kayle Majic put the game out of reach scoring into the empty net. Just seconds before that, Ashley Hogg made a brilliant save on a Cowichan forward who snuck behind the Hurricanes defense and was in alone on Ashley.

The Triport Wild beat the Sooke Thunderbirds 7-4 in the other semi-final game. This set up a matchup between the two top teams in the finals. The Hurricanes and the Wild finished with the same number of points in the regular season, so it was fitting that these two teams met in the finals.

The Hurricanes struck first when Camryn Hockley sent a pass to Sydney Cole putting her on a breakaway from center, Cole made no mistake beating the Wild goalie over her glove with a hard wrist shot. Triport would tie it up later in the first period on a goal mouth scramble.

The Hurricanes took the lead for good in the second period when Everett Feeney intercepted a clearing attempt behind the Wild net, walked out front and beat the Wild goaltender on the short side. The goalies took over from there and shut the door until late in the game.

With the Wild goalie on the bench for the extra skater, Cole blocked a shot in the Hurricanes end and skated onto the loose puck in the neutral zone. She deposited her second goal into an empty net sealing a 3-1 victory.
