The article regarding Timberwest’s threat to log and then sell their land has me in stitches.
What a surprise. What would they do if we don’t tax them – log it and sell when convenient and most profitable? So the end result will be the same. The only difference would be when.
Tax them as much as is a provincial average. Let them log it and sell it. We can only get a better owner since this company has no concern for anything other than their bottom line. So make their bottom a little lower. Corporate bums as I see it.
