She was born January 14, 1926 in Rock Bay, B.C. and passed January 20, 2012 in Campbell River, B.C.
She worked at Elk Falls Pulp Mill in the 1950s and the University of Victoria in the 1970s and 1980s. Predeceased by her father Alec Mulcahy in 1977 and mother Florence Mulcahy in 1982. Also predeceased by husband James William in 1998. Survived by two sons, William (Nella) and Michael. At Valerie’s request, there will be no service.
