Apr 20, 1947 - Mar 24, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Hasler Curnow, on March 24th from work- related Mesothelioma (Lung Cancer).

Tom was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1947. He was active in scouts as a child and as a result of his commitment he received the highest award, the Queen's Scout.

Tom met Rosalind Jones as a teen and they were married in 1967. When emigrating to Canada in 1976, they moved first to Clavet, Saskatchewan before settling in Campbell River in 1979.

He worked as a millwright at the Elk Falls Pulp Mill until 2008. He enjoyed both the Kinsman and being involved in Scouts with his sons. He was also an avid outdoors-man, a love that he passed on to his children and grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his sister, Sally (Philip), brother, Stephen (Diane), his sons, Nicholas (Darlene) & Owen Dafydd (Winter), his daughters, Sarah (Chris) & Gwen. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Cassandra, Bethan, Rhiannon, Caitlin, Rhys, Meadow & Evan. He is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Rosalind Curnow.
