Daughter of Jack (Scotty) and Barbara Winifred Stewart, was born on March 7th, 1957, in Vancouver, BC. Sylvia passed on from this life, July 7th, 2018, at the young age of 61, surrounded by her loving family, after battling complications due to lung cancer.
Sylvia is survived by her Husband Burt, her two loving Daughters, Trisha and Nicole, and her three Sisters, Barbara, Dawn, and Heather.
Sylvia was predeceased by her beloved big brother Johnny, and sister Shareen.
Sylvia will be remembered for being a genuine, beautiful, and wholeheartedly loving woman. She left her mark on everyone who was lucky enough to have known her. She will live forever in our hearts.
Her family would like to send a special thank you to the BC Cancer Agency, Dr. Livergant, and the amazing nursing staff in the oncology ward, at the Royal Jubilee hospital in Victoria. Their dedication to providing outstanding care, will be forever remembered.
A celebration of life for Sylvia, will be held on August 4th, 2018, 2 o'clock pm, in her garden at 260 Stratford Drive, Campbell River.
