Stella Ruth McReynolds passed away January 2, 2017 at Victoria’s Royal Jubilee Hospital. She is predeceased by parents William and Martha Nestor; brothers Denys, Aubrey and Robert Nestor and sister Glenna.
Survived by husband Clifton Glenn McReynolds, son Garth and family, daughter Gwen McReynolds, Ruth's brother John and sister Marie.
Stella was a resident of Campbell River since July 1, 1977. She lived, worked and happily travelled to many countries. She loved people, animals and volunteering for worthy causes. She was a free spirit who respected people of all nationalities, caste, colour and beliefs. She enjoyed reading, singing and dancing.
At her request, there will be no memorial service. A scattering of ashes will be carried out by her family.
In remembrance, spend a moment of silence, give thanks for her life that she thoroughly celebrated and enjoyed with gratitude, and perform a random act of kindness to a friend or stranger.
