It is of great sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother & best friend.
Solveig was born in Kviusdale, Norway where she met and married Birger Loland.
She followed him to Campbell River in 1952, with Oystein, John and later to arrive was Stan.
She was a very kind, gentle, caring & compassionate woman that left a footprint in many peoples heart. She had many fond memories of her friends at Discovery Inn and all her employees & acquaintances from the Litehouse Restaurant, where she was known for being such a wonderful cook.
Solveig is predeceased by her son Oystein in 1988 and her loving husband Birger in 1997 and her pet Dolly in 2007. She is survived by her loving sons John (Linda), Stan (Karen) 10 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren.
Celebration of Solveig's Life will be held Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Eagles Hall @ 4:30p.m. With a tea to follow.
