STROHM
Ruth Kristine Strohm (nee Engedahl), born on August 13, 1920 in Norway, passed away on April 18, 2008 in Campbell River, BC. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Strohm on April 3, 1996. Ruth is survived by her loving family: son, Gary (Linda); daughter, Sandy; grandchildren, Brandi, Kory and Nicole and great grandchild, Haylee.
A heart of gold stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts
to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
The leaves and flowers
may wither.
The golden sun may set.
But the hearts that loved
so dearly,
Are the ones who won’t forget.
Ruth was a world class baker and her pies and lefsa will be missed.
Private family Arrangements and Cremation entrusted to Sutton’s. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Ruth may be made to a charity of one’s own choice.
