In loving memory ~
After another courageous battle with cancer, Ron lost his fight and passed away at home with his loving family by his side. Ron worked at NVI Mining for 30 years until he retired in 2011, then he had more time to spend with family and friends.
Ron is survived by wife Deena, 3 children Veronica, Sherri, Kevin; 3 stepchildren Eleisha, Ashley, Joshua; 12 grandchildren Steven, Brayden, Summur, River, Karissa, Aliya, Tiana, Kolby, Owen, Jakob, Abigail, Willow; and 1 great grandchild Hazel; 3 siblings Wayne, Gwen, Cindy, and their families.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support during this last battle, their love, kind words and generosity will never be forgotten. We would especially like to thank Sherry Walker for her tremendous support being in Victoria for the 6 weeks Ron was in the hospital and never leaving Deena's side, as well as Shawna the palliative nurse for the beautiful poem and words during Ron's passing.
Please join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 1-4 pm at the family home at 490 5th Avenue (corner 5th and Cedar).
