May 19, 1948 - July 14, 2018
On a beautiful Saturday morning, Bob passed away in the Campbell River Hospital with his two daughters by his side, Maecie and Nicole. His lengthy battle with lung cancer now over.
Mourning his loss are his siblings Juanita Karlander (husband Stu) and brother Kenny, (wife Nancy). His wife of 21 years Elaine and Chipper, his dog.
Bob was loved by his many grandchildren, nephews and nieces, great niece and his best friend and cousin, Wally.
Known to his closest relatives and friends as "Brother", Bob was the ultimate outdoorsman. Hunting in the mountains and fishing in the lakes and ocean. He retired from Telegraph Cove Marina in 2013, where he was General Manager for 11 years. During this time, he made many friends who will miss him.
God speed to the best fishing hole Bob. We'll all miss you my darling.
A celebration of Bob's life will take place on a later date.
