December 13, 1942 - June 23, 2018
Richard passed away suddenly from a heart attack while working in his garage.

Born in Brockville Ontario, he grew up in Prescott Ontario until he joined the US Army to 'see the world'.

He lived in Germany, several states plus a tour of duty in Vietnam, then a career flying helicopters coast to coast interspersed with guiding for salmon, repairing boats, motors and chain saws, bus driving and trucking. Richard loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing and road trips with Linda on their motorcycles or by car.

Richard is survived by his wife of near 40 years, Linda, his son Patrick (Tammy) in Cambridge ON, his daughter Melanie in London ON, step children Carl (Janet) in Halifax and Micheline (Ray) in CR and his precious grandchildren Hailey, Tia, Cole and Tristan. Survived also by his 93 year old Aunt Maxine and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends in Ontario and BC.

Share a time of remembrance with all family and friends from 4 pm to 7 ish on Friday July 6 at our home, 35 Alder. Drop in to share memories (bring photos) and remember the good times.

Special thanks to neighbours and paramedics for their quick response and the on-going support of friends and family - you are all the best!
