August 30, 1948 - July 21, 2018
Pamela Bentley-Burd was born in Toronto, ON on August 30, 1948 and passed away peacefully on July 21, 2018 in Campbell River, BC after her battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her son Jordan Bentley, sister Joanne Burd, niece Krista Burd-Battram and nephew Troy Burkitt- Burd.
Pamela grew up in Ontario and moved to Campbell River in her young adult years where she settled in her home of 30 years. Pamela also spent a number of years in Kelowna and Victoria, BC. Pamela spent her time volunteering in her community and was also a member of The Royal Canadian Legion and the Eagles. She loved to play bingo, poker, sing karaoke and do yoga.
Pamela was predeceased by Louella Ann Margaret Linton-Burd and Thomas George Burd. Pamela is survived by daughter Laresa Grondin, sons Warren Hubarezuk and Jordan Bentley, brothers Warren and Christopher Burd, sister Brenda Nelson and Joanne Burd and many grandchildren, family members and friends. She will be dearly missed by all and will forever remain in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm at The Baptist Church, 260 S Dogwood St, Campbell River, BC.
