August 12, 1929 - January 12, 2020
Otto was born nearby Hildesheim, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1951, one year later his whole family immigrated as well. He worked in Kelsey Bay and from there went to UBC. He then accepted a position at Elk Falls Mill as supervisor until retirement.
Otto was so kind and friendly, that every body loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Marlene.
He enjoyed walking and swimming to keep fit and he and Marlene traveled the globe.
Thank you to all the health care workers. A huge thank you to all of the staff at Berwick, where he lived his final years. He will be truly missed by all that knew him and loved him. A memorial will be held at a later date.
