Ollie Penman

Ollie Penman passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital on August 4, 2011 at age 82. She is survived by her loving husband Roy of 60 years, son Glen (Penny) of Nanaimo and their children Erin and Trevor, daughter Linda and her daughter Christine Breukers, both of Campbell River.

During the 60s, Ollie was a Girl Guide and Brownie Leader and was well noted in Campbell River for her work with City Council. She enjoyed many hobbies, one of which was creating ceramic dolls and their clothing. Ollie was a strong, opinionated, influential woman who wouldn’t back down from a fight.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
