Olive Mae Schopp

Olive Mae Schopp was born on May 8, 1924 and passed away peacefully on January 4, 2011. Olive and Ivan were married in Winnipeg, Manitoba November 15, 1947 in the middle of a snow storm and moved to Elfros, Sask. after the wedding.
They lived in Elfros and then Saskatoon, Sask. until 1970 when they moved to Campbell River and ran Campbell River Esso for many years. Mom gave tirelessly in the raising of her 5 sons, shared in their successes and was supportive when things were not going well. The last several years were difficult for her from a medical point of view but she took it all without complaint and always had a smile.
Leaving to mourn her passing is her sister, Myrtle, her sons Everett (Chi), Vern, Leonard (Diane), Robin (Lonnie), Wes (Angel), Cathie, her grandchildren, Gavin (Jodi), Andrew (Kristen), Jennifer and her great grandchildren, Georgia and Calleigh.
