It is with deepest sadness to announce the sudden passing of Nick, beloved husband of Mary, father of Darrell, Papa to Nicholas & Kristen (and their mother Cheryl).
He is also survived by sisters Mary, Agnes & Vera, brothers Bill & Ted.
Predeceased by his parents Mike & Dora, sisters Helen & Margaret.
Born on Dec. 21, 1927 in Endeavour, Saskatchewan. Nick moved from Prince George to Campbell River with his family in 1958. He worked for the Elk Falls Mill until his retirement in 1991.
Nick was an avid outdoorsman and looked forward to his yearly hunting trip to Prince George. He loved to garden and spent many summers camping with his grandchildren who were the love of his life.
There will be no service as to his wishes. Cremation with the scattering of his ashes back to his happy hunting grounds.
