October 6, 1955 - June 23, 2021
It is with great sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the respectful passing of Mavis in her home on June 23rd, 2021.
Mavis had a list of tv shows she liked to watch, she read books from cover to cover and played cards, her favourite being solitaire.
Mavis is predeceased by her parents Darbein and Norman Saunders, Ian's parents; Jack and Ivy Uzzell, and John (Bonnie).
Mavis leaves behind her siblings; Peter, Kim and Norm, daughter Leah (Tiff Daniels), grandchildren; Bennett and Darbien and family; George, Robert, and Kenneth.
A special thanks to Dr. Klein, Dr. Van Niekerk, the Vancouver Cancer Clinic, General Hospital Cancer Care program, the Provincial Health Services Authority, the Medical Care Imaging, the Interventional Procedures, the palliative care nurses, and the BC Cancer Agency.
Thanks to all who met or cared for Mavis. There has been so much care and many setbacks.
