Mary Linford
October 17, 1917-August, 8 2007
Honor crossed over at home after a lengthy struggle with Parkinson’s. Predeceased by her husband Edgar Linford and son-in-law Don Matheson. She will always be remembered and loved by her daughter Diane Matheson, grandchildren Neil Matheson and wife Maria, Lisa Hyde-Lay and husband Ian, Corinne Matheson and Wayne Bairstow. Great Grandchildren, Derek and Graeme Hyde-Lay, Rafaelle, Natalia and Nico Matheson.
Honor’s son John Linford and wife Virginia, grandchildren Julia Linford, and Vanessa Stanhope and husband Warren.
Honor was an accomplished Pianist and Organist and had many friends in North Vancouver and Qualicum.
Many thanks to Doctor Penhall for his wonderful care and visits and to the home support and nurses who enabled me to look after mom at home where she wanted to be. To the special nurses who she loved so much, many thanks.
A celebration of Honor’s life will take place at daughter, Diane Matheson’s home at 4851 Gordon Road, Friday August 17th, 2007 from 1pm to 5pm.
