Marilyn Lamb passed away peacefully on March 24, 2016 at the South Health Campus in Calgary. She is survived by her children; Trevor (Lisa) Lamb, Theresa (Jeff) Newby, Tom Lamb and Kathy (James) Dyer and ten grandchildren.
Marilyn raised her children while being an entrepreneur in catering, janitorial and sign businesses. She retired to Quadra Island, BC over two decades ago and has been active in the Legion, Ladies Auxiliary, tourist booth and several other charities.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 - 100th Street SE, Calgary) on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Marilyn’s Life at the Slovenian Canadian Club (2335 – 16A Street SE, Calgary) at 1:00 p.m.
