Margaret Ethel Haegle passed away on March 24, 2014. Margaret was born in East Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia, November 19, 1925. She was predeceased by her first husband, Stan Grant and second husband, Don Heagle. She is survived by her children, Gail Grant-McAssey, Gary (Vivienne) Grant; step-daughters Lynne (Mike) Ryan, Nancy (Herb) Eigl; grandchildren Brandon (Colleen) Devnich, Dayton (Dianne) Devnich, Christopher (Jennifer) Grant, Joanne (Cameron) Grant, Jeremy (M) Eigl, Aurora (Shane) Chandler; great-grandchildren Jaxon, Beckett, Mackenzie, Evan and “Boots” the cat.
Margaret moved to Campbell River in 1946 with Stan. She operated Esqie Bar and Tops Café and worked for many years at Safeway and Co-op.
Thanks to the doctors and other staff at Campbell River Hospital and special thanks to her neighbour Jeff.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Margaret on Saturday, April 5 from 1:00-4:00 pm at 855 South Island Hwy, Campbell River.
