Margaret was born on October 7, 1925 in New Westminster, BC and died peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital on March 20, 2015, surrounded by her immediate family. Margaret “Marg” is survived by her husband R.A. “Al” to whom she had been married for almost 70 years. They raised a fine family, travelled the world, and created homes in Vancouver, Ocean Falls, Campbell River, Kelowna and most recently in West Vancouver, B.C.

Marg was a lifelong learner with a passion for BC history and family genealogy. She instilled her values in the family: aspiration, hard work, thrift and determination to excel. Following her career in real estate, she and Al travelled extensively and enjoyed their boating and RV adventures making many lasting friendships along the route. They were thrilled to return for births, graduations and weddings. Most recently they loved their strolls along the West Vancouver Sea Wall.

Marg is loved and missed by her husband Al, her children Dan (Deb) Rollins, Brenda (Mark) Spilker and Sharon (Dan) Muzzin, Also by her grandchildren, in whom she took great pride as they grew up and started careers and families of their own: Carolyn (Sean), Eslin (Joel), Meghan (Brad), Ainslie, Shannon (James), Joey, Brianne and Brad. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Olivia, Scarlett and Oscar who will grow up hearing often of our special wife, Mum, Grandma and Great Grandma. Margaret is also survived by her brother Colin (Mary) Campbell, her aunt Jean Bernard and several nieces and nephews. Margaret is predeceased by her parents Norman and Jean Campbell, and her siblings Norman, Jean and Gordon.

At Margaret’s request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lions Gate Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
