Shortly after 10:00pm Lois passed away quietly in the company of immediate family at the Campbell River Hospital.
She is predeceased by her mother Louise, her husband Arthur, her youngest son Glen, and her older brother William.
She is survived and most sorely missed by her father William, her son Arthur, her sister Patti, her brother Jamer, and her 4 grandchildren.
Her family is deeply indebted to the many people who have expressed their sadness over her passing and we would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your kind thoughts and deeds during this difficult time. It is a comfort to know so many people were so deeply influenced by her and share in our grief over her passing.
We would also like to pass along our appreciation to the many doctors and health care workers who helped her in her struggle with the disease that troubled her over the last few years.
Her memory will live lovingly on with those of us who were touched and influenced by her strength, wisdom, and appreciation of life.
A Memorial Service will be held June 20th, 2007, between 3:00-4:00pm, at the Church of the Way, on 7th Avenue in Campbell River. Tea and coffee to follow after service in the Church basement.
