She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Fia and grandsons Nick and Chris Goulet; Gail Kretz and her partner Don Engle; and her son Nick (Joy) and grandchildren Carmen, Michael (Jessica) and Karen Golinski. Lily will be remembered as a great friend, lunch date, crafts woman, and a member of many community groups, including the Campbell River Garden Club and the Women’s Institute.

The family is especially grateful for the wonderful care and comfort given to our mother and grandmother by Dr. Walker and the entire Yucalta Lodge staff.

A celebration of life tea for friends and family will be held at the home of her son on Saturday, December 27th, between 1 and 4 pm.

I’d like the memory of me

to be a happy one

I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done

I’d like to leave an echo

whispering softly

down the ways,

of happy times and

laughing times

and bright and sunny days

I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun

of happy memories that I leave

When life is done.
