of Port Neville,BC. Recently a resident of “Laurel Lodge” in Courtenay.
Born March 19, 1913 at Bold Point on Quadra Island. Moved to Hardwicke Island in 1918. Married the late Olaf Hansen of Port Neville in 1937, lived at Port Neville until 2001.
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital Oct. 30, 2003.
Lilly is survived and will be fondly remembered by her son Harold (Wendy); Lorraine (Peter) Parke; Evelyn (Henry) Less; and Lorna Chesluk; 7 grandchildren; Peter, Steve (Berni); Ron (Lisa); Tanya (Trever); Teresa (Terry); Susan and Erica and 14 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her six brothers Arthur, George, Barney, Fred, Harold and Jim.
Survived by sisters-in-law Enda, Dorothea, Hazel and brothers-in-law Arthur and Jack. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30p.m. Friday Nov. 7, 2003 at the C.R. United Church, 415 Pinecrest with Coastal Missions officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Coastal Missions, Box 77, Chemainus, BC., V0R 1K0 or a charity of choice.
