April 1, 1978 - March 4, 2024

In loving memory ~

On his new journey from life, Kris will continue to "High Mark" snow covered mountains, rock bluffs, and anything that comes his way.

The family is heartbroken to announce his passing. Kris left us on March 4, 2024, in Nanaimo BC. Kris struggled with drug addiction, and sadly that is what took him in the end.

Kris was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta on April 1, 1978. He moved with his parents to Campbell River, BC and attended high school. After graduation, he went to work for the family water business, and he eventually found work on the rigs in Alberta.

Kris had a passion for anything outdoors. From snowmobiling, 4x4ing in his truck (The Little Ford That Could) to river rafting and camping with his 2 daughters, this is where Kris found happiness, and peace of mind. Kris was a kind generous young man who would drop everything if you needed his help.

Kris is survived by daughters Saphira and Trinity and mother Brandy. The girls were the loves of his life. His mother Audrey, (George), father Norm, (Juli), brother Dusty, (Danyea), and his Grandmother Kay Potoski. He is further survived by step siblings Nicholas, Richard, Erin, Jami, Jason and Jodi, and a huge list of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

To say you will be missed Kris is an understatement. You will be loved always, and life will never be the same without you in it.

Keep your friends close, and your family closer as there is nothing more important in life than family.
