July 20, 1945–July 10, 2015
Keith Folster, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, as well as brother, uncle, cousin, and friend went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 10, 2015.
He was born in Leeds, England and moved to Campbell River as a young child. He was a long time employee of Upland Excavating and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 115.
Keith spent retirement playing crib and enjoying time with great- grandchildren Mackenzie and Dean.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Tym, daughters Rhonda (Bob), and Roberta, grandchildren Drew, Kass (Melissa), Megan, Erika, Jeremy, and Emily, great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Dean, brother Ken (Helen), sisters Karen (Dave) and Carol (Les) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Keith is predeceased by parents Mary and Stanley Folster, sister Kay Schultz, brother Kerry Mark Folster and sons Dean and Brentley Folster. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A celebration of Keith’s life will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Christian Life Fellowship, 445 Merecroft Rd. at 12:30 pm.
