Joyce Marjory
February 5, 1927 - October 24, 2003. Cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and loving friend, Joyce suddenly left us with the sunrise on Friday, October 24, 2003. She is pre-deceased by James Corrigan. Joyce leaves a legacy of love, courage, strength and faith with her husband of 35 years, Hugo; daughters, Maureen, Katie (Ken), Darlene (Gerrit), Charlene (Mike), Kelly (Shayne); grandchildren, Jodi-Dawn (Chad), Kristi-Leigh, Randy, Kristopher and Tyson; great-grandson Nicholas; brothers, Alfred (Cille), Nelson (Willy); many loving family and friends and her beloved pets; Molly, Shadow, Sadie and Snoopy. She opened her home and heart to all she touched. A gathering of family and friends in Celebration of Joyce’s life took place on Thursday, October 30th at 2:00 p.m. from ELK FALLS CREMATORIUM AND MEMORIAL CHAPEL, located at Elks Falls Memorial Cemetery, 5 minutes west of Campbell River on Highway 28. Private family interment took place at Elks Falls Memorial Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Joyce may be made to B.C.’s Children’s Hospital Foundation, 4480 Oak St., B321, Vancouver, B.C. V6H 3V4 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
