With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and friend Joe Paller.

Joe was born in Vancouver, BC and lived in Richmond and Fort Nelson before retiring in Campbell River in 2000. Joe spent his early working years at the Pacific Meat Company and then for many years as a Storesman for BC Hydro.

Joe loved watching, playing and coaching sports, particularly soccer. He managed the Richmond Men’s Soccer Club in the 1970s and throughout his life continued to coach his children and grandchildren’s sports teams.

After retirement, Joe travelled extensively to sunny locations, especially enjoying Cancun. He was a frequent patron of the Elks Club in Campbell River and loved playing the horses. He was a fan of card games of all kinds and always looked forward to poker matches with family and friends.

Most of all, Joe loved swimming, camping, fishing and spending time with all members of his family. He leaves behind his four children, Kim Wheeler (Pete Zaschke), Cindy Hildebrand (Richard), Jody Herbert (Fred), Anthony Paller, many grandchildren and great-grandson Jack.

He will be greatly missed by all.
