John passed away suddenly on Thursday afternoon. John was predeceased by Margaret, his wife of nearly 50 years, and will always be remembered by his siblings, Margaret (Hori), David (Ruth) and Elizabeth; his children Annette and David (along with their partners, Ross and Erika); and grandchildren Ryan, Kathryn, Rachael and Emily. John will also be remembered by many that he met over his long career with the Campbell River School District, working at Maple, Willow Point, Campbellton and Discovery Passage Elementary schools, as well as the district office.
John grew up and studied in Victoria before settling with Marg in Campbell River to enjoy the outdoors and raise a family.
At John’s request, there will be no service. In remembrance of John donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.
