Passed away peacefully Wednesday April 9, 2003 with his loving family by his side, he was 72 years of age. He is predeceased by his mother Katherine. Jack is survived by his loving wife Regina “Regie”, one daughter, Coleen (Gregory) Janicki and one granddaughter, Rachelle, one sister, Lorry (Gordon) Campbell, Qualicum Beach, BC., one brother, Jim (Emily) Findlay, Edson, Alberta.

Jack also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and friends.

Jack held many jobs during his life. He was the previous owner of “Tyee Marine & Fishing Supplies” from 1967-1978. He then developed and operated a successful salmon charter business known as the “Fish Bin”. Throughout his life he loved the outdoors. He was an avid gardener, hunter, fisherman and golfer. Jack will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity to others. He was a true family man, Jack will be sadly missed by family and friends.

A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held on Saturday April 12, 2003 at the OceanCrest Community Church, 291 McLean St., Campbell River at 1:00p.m., reception to follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Auxiliary, or the charity of one’s choice.
