John James Hunter
June 28, 1959 – September 25, 2011
John passed away suddenly on September 25, 2011 at the age of 52 years. He will be sadly missed by his six children Cameron, Brandon, Matthew, Darryl, Kristel and Amberley; and by his grandson Johnny. John also leaves to mourn his mother Bev Hunter; his siblings Tim, Tina, Debbie (Wayne Carmichael), Heather (Fabian Stratton) and Jim; his nieces and nephews Jason, Tabitha, Candice, Carlin and Tennaya; as well as his 3 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 7–9 pm at Sutton’s Campbell River Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood Street. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Thursday, October 6 at 1 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment in the Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 255–2000 Island Highway, North Nanaimo, BC V9S 5W3 would be appreciated by the family.
