David, John (Red) Francis - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen(Kay) in 2008. He is survived by his daughter Corrinne Barrett, Allyson Crowe, stepson Myron Anderson, grandchildren Leila Ball, Lincon Barrett, Heather Crowe, and Rhonda Crowe.
John was a lifetime member of the Elks Club, enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a tugboat captain, logger, and a fishing guide on the B.C. west coast. He enjoyed the great outdoors and retired to Campbell River in 1994.
John was a great story teller who enjoyed sharing his adventures along with his homeade wine, with all his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
