Janna passed away at sunrise on Friday, February 6. She is survived by her beloved partner of 17 years Hans Anhut of Campbell River, son Sean Bowers(41) of Vancouver and future daughter-in-law Danielle Chong
Hans witnessed her fight against the inevitable that we will all have to experience some day. Sustained for the last three months by prayers, thoughts, love, cards, phone calls, emails and visits by dozens of friends and members of St. Peter’s Church who all made a difference.
Thanks go to the staff at Campbell River Home Care who were wonderful.
Marmalade maker, thrift store shopper, gardener, devoted friend to many, avid reader, house builder with her partner Hans and creator of a delightful and hospitable home. A very good woman with a big heart for everyone, always helpful, and thinking the best of others. A beautiful human being has gone to a better place but will never be forgotten.

Celebration of Life at St. Peter’s Church on Saturday, February 14 at 2:00pm.
