December 23, 1978 – February 27, 2016
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Janet MacMillian at the age of 37.
Janet will be forever remembered by her two loving children Charley and Remington, husband James MacMillian, her mother Susan Hodgkinson, brothers James Hodgkinson and David Lang, sister Christine Leong, identical twin sister Jami Harris (John), nieces Kaydence and McKenna, mother-in-law Simone and father-in-law Dwight.
Janet was an avid wrestler in her younger days and coached both the Carihi and Phoenix programs for years. She attended many provincial and national championships. Her happiest times in life prior to the birth of her children were coaching kids on mats.
Janet is joining her father Charlie, Nana, Papa, Grandmother and Grandfather.
There will be a viewing on March 14th from 2 - 4 pm at Suttons Funeral Home for anyone who wishes to pay their last respects. Cremation and spreading of ashes where she will join her dad in Brown’s Bay will happen later this summer.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Campbell River Wrestling Club in her honour are appreciated.
