Of Quadra Island passed away at Campbell River Hospital on Friday, January 7, 2005. He was predeceased by his father Robert Hales Hedefine. James is survived by his mother Lily Hedefine; brothers Thomas (Kathy) and William (Michelle) all of Toronto; nieces and nephews Cara, Shane and Taylor and aunts and uncles Barb (Geoff) and Dorothy (Stan) all of England. James was so appreciative to Walcan Seafood employees for fullfilling his dream for an awesome helicopter ride. He enjoyed disc golf and was an avid Greatful Dead Fan.
