Herbert Joseph
Died peacefully after a brief illness. Born in St. Lawrence, Newfoundland in 1917 he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine in June 2000 and his brother, Rupert in 1982.
To mourn his loss he is survived by his sisters: Carrie wick of Parksville, Emma(Peter) Allen of Crofton and Leona Sprinkle of Chemainus; his nephew Herbert Dennis (Fran) Allen of Cowichan Bay and nieces, Brenda (Bob) Worobey of Union Bay, Ann (Gerry) Brown of Castlegar, Carole Helen of Parksville, Leona Murray of Maple Ridge, and many relatives and friends in Eastern Canada.
Herb spent his younger years in Prince Rupert where he married his dearest “Kay” and moved to Campbell River in the early 60’s where they spent many happy years. He will be sadly missed by numerous good and caring friends - particularly the Kiley and Pomeroy families and Graham Chisholm (nephew) in White Rock.
Prayers were offered Sunday March 28, 2004 at 7:30p.m. at the St. Patrick’s Parish, 34 S. Alder St. in Campbell River. Mass was held at 10:00a.m. on Monday March 29, 2004 with Father Bill MacDonald officiating. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Charity of your Choice.
