Herbert
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert. He passed away peacefully at Evergreen Seniors Home where he received loving care from the staff. He was born in Sköpen, Germany on January 14th, 1930. He is survived by his son David (Comox) and his sister Erika (Wolfgang) in Germany. He immigrated to Canada in 1952. He lived in Campbell River for many years and worked as a technician at Bill and Ed’s TV. Herb has had many operations, and accepted them all very courageously. The Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, Dec. 8th at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church with Father William MacDonald officiating.
