April 14, 1940 - December 29, 2019
We are deeply saddened to announce that Helen Elizabeth Tull passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 29th at Yucalta Lodge Campbell River BC. Born in Strathmore Alberta on April 14th, 1940 to Nettie Ann Dressler and John Campbell. Mom married the love of her life on October 5th, 1957 and had three sons Barry, Clifford and Darrel. She is predeceased by her mother Nettie, father John and first husband Joe Kerr, brother John, Bob, sister Marie, niece Lois and brother in law Eric. She is survived by her sons Barry (Louise), Clifford (Andrea) and Darrel. Her sister Kathleen, nephew Wayne (Gail), niece Terry (Barrie) grandchildren Jaylene (Rob), Ashley, Kimberly, Kelly (Josh) and Travis (Brianna), great grandchildren Madisyn, Aliyah, Everly and Naya.
Mom loved her dogs and taking them on her daily walk. She enjoyed having a beer while watching sports and also loved to do jigsaw puzzles. Mom was never afraid to speak her mind and did so when ever she felt the need. Mom loved her sons and did whatever she could to make them better people. She was always there for them while she raised them on her own. No small task when you consider they got into trouble frequently! Her boys were her life.
Our family would like to thank Dr. Rowe and all the wonderful staff at Yucalta lodge for taking care of mom over the last 5 1/2 years especially during the last few weeks of her life. Flowers gratefully declined. Please consider donating to Alzheimers Society of Canada.
