JACOBSEN,
Harvey, Solberg
of Quadra Island, passed away at home on Thursday, March 6th, 2003, aged 62. He was born in Edmonton on August 13th, 1940, living with his parents until they died. In 1988 he came to live with his brother Ken (June) on Quadra Island. He loved being by the ocean and was able to develop many activities and friendships. His last year, he was plagued by pain and was not able to do much, but while he had his health, Harvey enjoyed model railroading, collecting CD’s, stuffed animals, reading Archie comics, fishing, playing pool and traveling. He will be dearly missed.
Predeceased by his parents, Harvey is survived by his brother Ken and his wife June of Quadra Island; Mart and Dale Jacobsen, Kim McMahon and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2:15 pm at Quadra Island Kingdom Hall, Heriot Bay Road.
