Harold Earl
Born on March 10, 1932 in Melville, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on January 1, 2004 in Nanaimo Hospital.
Harold is predeceased by his parents Leonard and Leopoldine, his brothers Len, Ernie, Rick, and his sister Gladys.
Harold is survived by his loving wife Lorie of 45 years, his two daughters Heather (Gord) Thompson and Laurel (Harry) Spence, three grandchildren Troy, Briden, and Rayce, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his sister Ev, his brother Don (Ruth), and his “adopted” daughter Sharon (Lorraine).
Harold was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, fishing partner, and friend. He spent much of his time on the move, and also volunteered as a driver for the Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society.
There will be no service by Harold’s request. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Harold’s memory to the BC Cancer Foundation or the Mid-Island Hospice Society.
